With Scan & Sign, Österreichische Post AG has become even faster.

Together with POS Solutions GmbH, Austrian Post has analyzed the point of sale processes and initially focused on optimizing the parcel pick-up process.

After presenting the pick-up slip (“yellow slip”) and a valid identification document (e.g. driver's license, ID card, passport, etc.), the legally required customer data is read electronically and stored until the end of the objection period in order to serve as evidence in the event of any objections. The customer then signs the collection receipt digitally.
