Point of sales authentication in the A1 Telekom Shops

Due to the heavy public traffic in A1 stores, it is important that employees log out every time they leave their workplace. However, constantly logging in and out, including authentication, is very time-consuming and is therefore often “forgotten” by employees.

With the new solution, A1 Shop employees can now take their personal desktop with them to any workstation. Using a smart card and PIN, the current Citrix session can be re-established in about 2 seconds (inserting the smart card and entering the PIN).
