From now on, Hilti management employees can carry out their approvals electronically and with a personal signature on their mobile devices (e.g. smartphone or tablet PC).

The process is highly automated and can be initiated both systemically and manually. A key component is the fully automated workflow management, which is dynamically based on Hilti AG's decision trees. This was achieved through the implementation in SAP and the linked Microsoft Active Directory query.

The workflow, including the signatures, can be controlled automatically via SAP (by transferring control data), but can also be initiated manually via a web front-end.

After successful processing and digital signature, the documents are transferred to SAP for archiving.
