POSident offers you various methods for secure online identification.
FOTOident BASIC
FOTOIDENT is automated identification via photo upload. With fully automated photo identification, the user is identified using their uploaded official ID document and their portrait photos. The biometrics of their photos, the integrity of their ID document (including the data it contains) and a liveness check are carried out.

Fotoident PLUS
FOTOIDENT plus is identification by photo upload with manual follow-up checks. With the FotoidentPLUS process, the results of the fully automated photo identification process are manually checked by an expert in an additional step. This creates additional security through the two-stage check (manual and systemic). In addition, a targeted check of selected and individual features is also possible.

Fotoident CHIP
FOTOIDENT chip is biometric identification via photo upload and reading of the ID chip. In the case of an ID document with a chip, the personal data is stored electronically and signed on the ID chip. As part of the FOTOIDENT chip process, the data on the chip is read and checked using an app and smartphone.
The procedure is FM-GwG-compliant in Austria (according to Online-IDV, version 02.11.2021). It offers a very high level of security by reading out the signed data including verification of the signature. This also ensures that the data is tamper-proof. The data quality is almost 100% due to the electronic readout.

VIDEOIDENT
A video agent identifies the user according to a predefined call sequence. Agent and user are connected in a real-time video stream. Identification via video chat has been approved by the FMA and BaFin as a secure identification method and is now used by many banks and financial companies.
Various options are available for the call center with the video agents:
Use of own call center or own employees as video agents or use of a video identification service provider (full service) as a complete out-of-the-box video identification transaction.
Video identification also allows qualified certificates to be issued.
