With the help of the POSportal platform and the POSident identification module, interested parties can self-identify remotely via the Internet and apply for their BauID Card in a completely digital process.

The POSportal platform is operated by Kapsch Business Com and the integration was carried out by the service provider TietoEnator.

BauID GmbH

Bau-ID GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Bauarbeiter- Urlaubs- und Abfertigungskasse (BUAK), was founded on February 19, 2020 and is a key service provider for the entire construction industry. As a joint project of all stakeholders within the construction social partnership, the company was founded with the aim of creating its own software service provider, independent of all market participants, which subsequently supports companies in fulfilling the legally required obligations in the context of combating wage and social dumping on Austrian construction sites.
