Electronic visitor registration at Hutchison Drei Austria
The “paper chase” in the reception area of the Drei in Vienna has now come to an end. From now on, visitors can register electronically at the Welcome Desk on the Apple iPads specially installed for this purpose. In return, they will then receive their individualized visitor badge with an imprinted guest Wi-Fi code.
Hutchison's facility management has thus solved some of its most important problems, which were also the driving force behind this new solution.
In an emergency: Who is in the building?
The system provides a reliable history of who has been in the building, for how long and for what purpose. In addition, reception staff can find out immediately at the touch of a button in an emergency: Who is currently in the building? This is a key factor when the emergency services are deployed.
Automated generation of visitor badges reduces the workload
But this was not the only reason why the solution was eagerly awaited by reception staff. They are happy to swap the always unsightly visitor book for a modern iPad, which also fits in very well with the design of the reception area. The automated generation of visitor badges is a real relief, as previously the badges had to be filled in by hand.
