BAWAG P.S.K., Wien / Austria

Automatic capture of additional documents at postal transaction counters

For all bank transactions at the post office counters, the identification documents are no longer photocopied when legitimizing transactions, but can be scanned directly from any workstation in a single step. BAWAG P.S.K. uses the existing document readers from Austrian Post, which have been successfully in use in all branches since last year.

Based on their positive experiences, the employees in the branches had also requested the use of the solution for all bank transactions. In everyday business, Scan and Sign has made Swiss Post processes safer and faster.

In the next step, the digital signature will also be integrated into the systems for banking transactions, so that BAWAG P.S.K. will also have access to a fully electronic point of sales document management system.
